Ellen Pepus Literary Agency is a full-service literary agency actively seeking submissions from both established and new, undiscovered talent. We represent narrative non-fiction, including history, true crime, science, adventure, and memoir, as well as self-help, health and diet, food and cooking, travel, entertainment, popular culture, how-to and humor. We also represent a wide range of fiction, including literary, historical, mystery, women's fiction and romance, erotica, thrillers, fantasy and general commercial fiction. We do not handle science fiction, young adult, children's, short stories, poetry or screenplays.
EP Literary offers expert representation and creative strategies to help writers not just sell books but to develop their careers. We have broad experience and skills in law, writing, editing and marketing and work closely with all our clients to help them develop their platforms, writing and publicity skills. We follow the Code of Ethics of the Association of Authors Representatives and will never charge reading or editorial fees.
OUR RESPONSE TIME:
For initial queries: We ask that you send all materials by email if possible (see submission guidelines). In return, we will do our best to reply within 2-3 weeks.
For requested submissions: After we receive requested materials we try to evaluate them (partial or full manuscripts or proposals) within 6-8 weeks.
